Ten Justifications for Eating Fast Food

Regardless of where we stand on the fast food spectrum, a lot of us still make time in our schedules to visit the closest drive-through. Some of us may even be huge fans. Though not everyone does so for the same reason, we can all agree that there is at least one significant explanation. In response, we’ve put up this list of ten universally relatable reasons why people like to consume fast food.

1. It’s Swift.

Simply place your meal order, and it will be completed very immediately. Luckily, this is what makes fast food so appealing and what keeps people coming back for more; many people don’t even enjoy the length of time it takes to reheat meals in the microwave. Actually, the terrible wait is made worse by the fact that each agonizing second passes more slowly than the last. Fast food is therefore one of the easiest choices, enabling a quick and uncomplicated supper.

2. You’re Not In the Mood to Cook.

It’s true that none of us has never been guilty of it: there are days when you simply don’t feel like cooking. Perhaps you’ve had a busy day or are just exhausted; either way, you’re getting closer to falling asleep and fretting about what to eat for breakfast the next day. Luckily, fast food can save the day by giving you a little additional time to relax or finish off any other things you have on your list.

3. It’s Excellent for Last-Minute Needs.

One of the last things on your mind is eating if you’re already having trouble getting to work, school, or a crucial event. It’s likely that at this point, you’re anxious and panicked about your chances of making it in time. However, that’s what makes fast food so amazing—it saves the day when things become really bad. Additionally, you’ll feel a lot less stressed because you won’t have to rush to create anything and cause yourself to be late.

4. You Can Take Advantage Of Your Lunch Break More.

People who have a 30-minute lunch break or none at all are aware of the difficulty in getting meals and returning quickly to their work. As a result, it’s not a nice experience, particularly if you have to fight heavy traffic to come back after eating off-site. In actuality, by the time you realize this, it’s generally already time to clock back in. However, fast food solves this issue completely by letting you take advantage of your break time wisely and unwind.

5. It’s Oh So Good But So Bad For You.

Even though you know that eating something healthy would be a far better choice, you keep finding yourself in the same situation. What was once a guilty pleasure has now become commonplace, and you can’t help but ask, “What keeps bringing me back?” In these kinds of situations, it’s reasonable to remark that the cuisine tastes fantastic even when the ingredients are terrible.

6. Your Cravings Can Be Satisfied.

I find it amusing that food advertisements only appear to peak in the late hours of the night. As a result, every commercial appears to enjoy playing a nasty joke on your stomach. You could even find that just when you think you’re full, you suddenly have a strong desire for a certain dish. You never considered getting an additional scoop of ice cream with your chocolate lava cake until all of a sudden you find yourself in line for it.

7. The price is low.

Fast food is inexpensive, so you never have to worry about breaking the bank when you go through the drive-thru. This is one of the nicest things about it. As a result, a lot of people—especially poor college students—turn to fast food since it’s all they can afford right now. Because you can fill yourself up for the day with just a few bucks, the dollar menu appears to be one of our personal favorites.

8. You’re reaching for a bite to share with a companion.

Everybody has found themselves in a difficult situation, particularly when friends invite them to join them for a bite to eat. You muster the willpower and/or courage to refuse them, but as soon as they say, “on me,” you give in. It is impossible not to accept their offer. You, on the other hand, desire your closest friend’s companionship, even if it means grabbing fast food.

9. There are already too many things for you to do.

Your calendar is starting to resemble a novel due to the overwhelming amount of homework you have, and as you realize how much work still has to be done, your stress level starts to decrease. But in the middle of all of this, you know what one thing you can always rely on to get you through the late-night “catch-up and study” sessions? quick food. You can do a great deal more with it than you could have without it.

10. You want to eat before going to bed after a late night out.

Everybody deserves a girls’ night out once in a while, but when the early evening turns into the late hours of the night, cooking becomes less and less important. While driving home, you feel yourself nodding off. However, before you change into your coziest pajamas, how about a good, juicy burger? I know I would, and that’s precisely why I always end up eating fast food.
